Southport & Ainsdale was once described by Golf World USA as 'the best designed course in the UK'. Set amongst ranges of tall sandhills and smaller sand dunes, it's easy to see why. The James Braid design is a true test of golf and the course was chosen to host the Ryder Cup twice in the 1930s.
